Overnight is part of camping and can be both difficult and enjoyable. You can also expend time gazing up at the stars with your child and teach him some basic principles of astronomy. This is also an excellent time to talk and bond with your kids without the distractions of TV, games, and computers. Kids can be instructed about camp songs and told funny camping out stories by you. Prepare your kids for the novelty of sleeping anywhere other than their familiar bedroom. Kids have rich imaginations. Dad’s snoring can quickly become a growling bear and moving leaves can spell peril.

Camping in your garden is a great way to introduce the youngsters to the joys of camping. You may wish to start camping out in your back yard as a family tradition. Camping in your own back yard gives your family the opportunity to reconnect and enjoy the company of each other.
